Nizami Ganjavi (1141 to 1209)نظامی گنجوی is best known for his five long narrative poems Panj Ganj (Persian: Five Jewels) "Quinary", or Khamseh as: 1- [(Persian: مخزن الاسرار)"The Treasury of Mysteries" (1163)], 2- [(Persian: خسرو و شیرین) "Khosrow and Shirin" (1177–1180)], 3- [(Persian: لیلی و مجنون) "Layla and Majnun" (1192)]. 4- [Eskandar-nameh (Persian: اسکندرنامه) "The Book of Alexander" (1194)], and 5- [Haft Paykar(Persian: هفت پیکر) "The Seven Beauties" (1197) (also called Bahram-Nama)].
