SAHLEP 1 teaspoon sahlep powder + 2 teaspoons sugar + 1 pinch cinnamon + 1 cups milk + 1 pinch cinnamon, for dusting.Place all ingredients in a saucepan.Boil, whisking continuously, for 2 – 3 minutes.Pour into two cups.Dust with cinnamon.

Boza - In the century Turkish traveler Evliya Çelebi reported that boza was largely drunk by janissaries in the army and it contained a low level of alcohol. So, it was tolerated due to its warming and strengthening effect for the soldiers.
