JARRE TURQUOISE Nasreddine Dinet (born as Alphonse-Étienne Dinet on Mar 28, 1861–Dec 24, 1929, Paris) was a French orientalist painter. In 1903 he bought a house in Bou Saâda (Algeria) and spent three quarters of each year there. He announced his conversion to Islam in a private letter of 1908, and completed his formal conversion in 1913, upon which he changed his name to Nasr’Eddine Dinet. Dinet’s understanding of Arab culture and language set him apart from other orientalist artists.

Allah, the one treue God. The word 'Allah' is the preferred word and name to call God by. Unlike other languages, it doesn't have a masculine, feminine or neuter connotation for He is above that. The term 'He' is used as we as humans have limited capacity to understand the true nature of God (in this life). Interestingly, the word 'Allah' also cannot linguistically have a plural (eg.God(s)); it just doesn't make sense - the beauty of the Arabic language.
