🦋Origami Butterfly… but from fabric? Yes! Why not? When I first saw someone fold this simple origami butterfly I instantly pictured it with fancy embroidery-embellished wings. Several weeks went by, but the idea was still taking up space in my head... which means I had to give it a try. I picked random fabric, floss colors that I liked in the moment, and “stitch-doodled” my way through several movies to fill in the color on the wings. It’s a very relaxing style of stitching. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried it. No pattern! Just try different stitches and color combinations. A running stitch to sandwich the two pieces of fabric together... turned them right-sides out... eh voilà! The folding is simple. I’ll do another video on that if anyone is interested. ??
