Luger Pistol with a Twist - This 1915-dated 9mm pistol at some point passed through the British Isles, where for sales purposes, it had to receive British nitro proofing on critical components. While some captured WWI Lugers were pressed back into military duty for the Second World War – our hunch is that this one may have been a souvenir that was proofed for a British owner. At the NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA.
