‘Ā’ishah bint Abī Bakr (613/614 – 678 CE; Arabic: عائشة‎ transliteration: ‘Ā’ishah [ʕaːʔiʃa], also transcribed as A'ishah, Aisyah, Ayesha, A'isha, Aishat, Aishah, or Aisha /ˈɑːiːˌʃɑː/) was one of Muhammad's wives.
