AN IZNIK POTTERY DISH  OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1640  With sloping rim on short foot, the white interior decorated in cobalt-blue, green and black underglaze and bole-red with a large figure of a trotting blue-spotted horse with bridle, four blue tufts issuing scrolling vine that fills the interstices, the rim with alternating green paired leaf and blue rosette motifs between black rings, the exterior with alternating blue and green motifs,   10 3/8in. (26.2cm.) diam.

(18.6cm.) diam.
