Krystal Duran on Instagram: "If you have fungus gnats, this carnivorous will be perfect for you! The pinguicula plant, aka ping, catches fungus gnats with its sticky leaves. They get caught on the leaves and it triggers the plants’ digestive enzymes. General care: Carnivorous plants need a nutrient free soil (I use carnivorous soil), any added nutrients will harm them. Distilled water, rain water, or reverse osmosis water is required for them because it is low in minerals so no tap water for this one. These all do not require a dormancy period like a Venus fly trap but will have smaller(succulent shaped) leaves during the cold season. They will need plenty of sunlight or an added growlight!
