Stainless Steel Drip Tray
This stainless steel drip tray can be used with most of our hard cheese molds and fits on all of our cheese presses. The spout for runoff helps prevent damage to a wood cheese press or any other surface, from the liquid whey as cheese drains. It is easy clean and dishwasher safe.
Cheese Wax Brush
This cheese wax brush has a 6" handle with 2" wide natural boar bristles. This is a great brush for applying wax to homemade cheese, before aging.
Red Cheese Wax
Cheese Wax is specially made for coating cheeses. It helps prevent unwanted mold growth and retains moisture while cheese is aged. This wax is soft and pliable, unlike pure paraffin wax which becomes brittle, causing it to crack easily. One pound will wax approximately 12-20 cheeses when brushed on. If dipping dipping your cheese to wax it, instead of brushing the wax on, we recommend starting with at least 5 pounds of wax.
Reed Cheese Mat
This reed cheese mat is used when air drying cheese, especially soft, mold ripened cheese. Using this mat will allow whey to drain and air to circulate when cheese is draining, air drying and aging.
Cheese Testing Needle
This cheese testing needle is used to check the quality of taste and texture as cheese is aging. When inserted into cheese, it takes a minimal sample from the aging cheese. This is ideal for aged cheese including Parmesan and Grana.
Manchego Cheese Mold
This Manchego cheese mold will impart the traditional and unique, woven basket design, commonly associated with Manchego cheese, onto the surface of finished cheese. Each mold includes a base, beautifully patterned liner and follower. The liner is approximately 1/4" thick. The pattern within these molds is based off of the original woven grass forms that were traditionally used in Spain. Once formed, this beautiful pattern will be imprinted on the entire surface of the finished cheese.
Dutch Style Cheese Press
This cheese press is proudly made in the USA and built to last a lifetime. Made from solid hard wood, Maple, this press is well balanced and easy to use. Pressure is applied by hanging weights at one of four notches on the lever arm. Each notch is a multiple so you can calculate how much pressure is being applied. For example, a 5 lbs weight hung on notch three will provide 15 lbs of pressure. With an ability to apply up to 100 lbs of pressure, this press can be used with cheese weighing up…
