Six-bed hunting lodge featured on Grand Designs goes up for sale
A renovated six-bedroom hunting lodge that appeared on TV show Grand Designs has been put on the market again after it failed to sell two years ago. Kemeys Folly, which is set in 24 acres of land, was put up for sale for £1.85m after its stunning renovation featured on the Channel 4 programme. But the Grade II-listed luxury home near Newport, South Wales, failed to attract a buyer and has now been listed for an extra £100,000 two years later.

My wife insists on showing potential buyers around our house - should we let the estate agent do it?
My wife and I have been trying to sell our family home for more than six months. We're downsizing as my mobility isn't very good any more. Our children grew up in the house and it means a lot to us. We've had multiple viewings, but no offers. My wife insists on helping show around prospective buyers and providing them with in-depth details of the history of the house, family goings on in the place over the years and even highlights renovation work or improvements that need doing. Do you think buyers are being put off by my wife attending viewings? Is it just best to leave viewings to the estate agent and potential buyer?

New findings by Lloyds Banking Group show average property prices in Sandbanks, Dorset, stand at £965,708 - and that is down 3 per cent on a year ago.

The flat I want to buy has a £3,000 annual service charge: Should I steer clear?
I'm a first-time buyer and have seen a flat I like. It's a two-bedroom flat with an asking price of £365,000. I've been told the annual service charge for the flat is currently more than £3,000 a year. This sounds like a lot to me. There is a garden space around the property, but it seems quite low-maintenance. The communal entrance hall isn't anything fancy either. How concerned should I be about the service charge? Is it likely to keep rising? Can the charge be challenged?

Selling the City star reveals 3 hot tips realtors don't want you to know
Selling the City star Eleonora Srugo is one of the top realtors in the nation. She's a luxury broker who has her own offshoot within Douglas Elliman - the premier residential real estate brokerage in the US - in New York City and is consistently ranked among the city's top 10 agents. Srugo spends her free time (not that she has much) studying the ups and downs of the US housing market, and often deposits seven-figure checks for a sale. Those checks land her right where she wants to be, living in the lap of luxury - flying private, traveling the world and collecting memberships at private clubs like Zero Bond in Manhattan.
