Damascus-style rimless dish in blue and green with artichokes. Hand painted with under glaze and bright over glaze finish. Fired at 800 degree Celsius. Original dated to 1545, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Museum, Lizbon, Inv. no. 818. W: 800 gr. D: 30.5 cm (approx.) This piece may be used as a serving plate for fruits and cold dishes or may be hanged on the wall as a decorative item.
