Here's a resource I put together with information about the Town of Trumbull, CT.
Pequonnock River Trail | Connecticut Trails
The Housatonic Rail-Trail in Trumbull, a.k.a., the Pequonnock Valley Greenway, is a fairly flat trail overlooks the winding Pequonnock River for much of its 3.4 miles. Rapids and distinctive rock outcrops add interest. The trail begins on the railroad corridor, strays from it, then returns to emerge at Old Mine Park.
Approximately 6,955 children attend the Trumbull Schools. The one pre-school, Trumbull Early Childhood Education Center, six elementary schools, Booth Hill, Daniels Farm, Frenchtown, Jane Ryan, Middlebrook and Tashua, house 3,278 students in grades pre-k through grade five.
