Hyman's Charleston Shrimp'n Grits 1- Boil 4 Cups of Water 2- Stir in grit Package 3- Bring to Boil, reduce heat, let simmer for 10-15 min. 4- Add extra water for desired consistency (Optional) 5- Saute chopped Garlic Clove in butter 6- Add 1 Cup of water to garlic butter 7- Add beef base and flour, then stir until thick 8- Bring to boil and stir in shrimp 9- Cook for an additional 5 min. 10- Put grits in bowl and top with shrimp and gravy sauce.
