A 'paralı arkalık' (waistband with coins) for women. From western Anatolia, mid-20th century. The triangle with coins is original, the (fabric) upper part of the garment has been renewed. 133 late-Ottoman (rather small) silver coins, 2 early-Republican 'one kuruş'-coins (1939), one circular silver dangle, plastic beads and 7 late-Ottoman copper coins.
