Viktor v. Grumbckow 1849 - 1901. Reformer of the Ottoman artillery. Ranked as a Major-General, Pasha von Grumbkow was in the service during the Greco-Turkish war of 1897. His role has been described as “Prussian artillery instructor to the Ottoman Army, who had been sent to the army to supervise the armament and ammunition, but without holding any definite command.”
