Homesteading | Preserving Eggs With Water Glassing
“Water glassing eggs is easy! I know folks are staring to see the egg drought. Sharing this again from last year, we did the exact same thing this year. You can do this anytime you have a surplus of eggs, for those times that you don’t! They scramble up nicely and work 100% the same in any cooking or baking dish. You can also add eggs first, use a separate jar to mix your lime and water then pour on top! Whatever works for you! Doing this ensures we have farm fresh eggs when the coop is empty over those deep winter months. Hatching spring chicks can also help 😉”
