I took this back in late September after back to back trips out to Black Lake. On this particular morning I was with Erik Page. Despite getting skunked again with Mad Cloud Disease (meaning the lack there of...) I liked this scene and had shot it the day before. After the morning rain showers the clouds were moving fast and the light was ever changing, when the sun broke thru it lit up both the falls and the massive mists coming from big early season flows in Falls Creek, fortunately a gentle up canyon breeze kept most of the spray away from the viewpoints.
