AN IZNIK POTTERY DISH OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1620 With sloping rim on short foot, white interior decorated with a symmetric arrangment of a central tuft issuing two tendrils that join at a single blue palmette, issuing a pair of blue tulips, flanked by a pair of red roses & at the bottom, a red & a blue flower, also from the central tuft, & two more blue tulips, with a red arabesque panel between the two main tulips, the rim with black stylized wave & rock motif... 10¾in. diam.

AN IZNIK POTTERY DISH OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1620 With sloping rim on short foot, white interior decorated with a symmetric arrangment of a central tuft issuing two tendrils that join at a single blue palmette, issuing a pair of blue tulips, flanked by a pair of red roses & at the bottom, a red & a blue flower, also from the central tuft, & two more blue tulips, with a red arabesque panel between the two main tulips, the rim with black stylized wave & rock motif... 10¾in. diam.

(26.2cm.) diam.

AN IZNIK BLUE AND WHITE POTTERY DISH OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1540 With cusped sloping rim on short foot, the white interior painted in cobalt-blue and turquoise with three bunches of grapes on the vine, the scalloped leaves issuing scrolling tendrils, the cavetto with floral sprays, the rim with stylized wave and rock design, the exterior with similar floral sprays to those on the cavetto, intact, 14¾in. (37.2cm.) diam.
