The Aloes in Bloom, Cassis 1912 / Henri Charles Manguin was a French painter, associated with Les Fauves. Manguin entered the École des Beaux-Arts to study under Gustave Moreau, as did Matisse and Charles Camoin with whom he became close friends.
The signatures of Mustafa Rıza, who reinvented himself as "Kemal Ataturk". Under that name he founded the first Turkish Republic. He eliminated the Turkish alphabet, which was basically Arabic, and had one made up to look European.
