Here's a map of the many key battles in South Carolina, throughout the Revolutionary War. Some of the battles are, Charlestown, Camden, and Cowpens. These battles could be labeled major battles or turning points in the American Revolution.
The Battle of Bunker Hill happened during the Siege of Boston. The battle is named after Bunker Hill in Charlestown Boston which was not very important in the battle. Bunker Hill was the original objective of both the colonial and British troops though the larger majority of combat took place on Breed's Hill.
I love this painting of George Washington http://pinterest.com/pin/24066179230806784 in prayer at Valley Forge during the American Revolutionary War. What a good example of an honorable leader who recognized his need to rely on a power greater than himself in the performance of his duty and defending the noble cause of liberty. "In God we trust."
