One (adorned) end of an 'uçkur' (sash / waist band). Early 20th century. 'Two-sided embroidery' (both sides are identical) - silk and metal thread on linen. Motif: 'Karanfil' (carnation). ‘Tel kırma’-technique: geometrical motives obtained by sticking narrow metallic strips (often silver) through the fabric and folding them; this motifs too are identical on both sides of the fabric.
