Camille Claudel (8 December 1864 – 19 October 1943) was a French sculptor and graphic artist. She was the elder sister of the poet and diplomat Paul Claudel.

Camille Claudel - Hermana del poeta Paul Claudel y amante del que fuera su maestro, el escultor Auguste Rodin. Desde muy temprana edad se apreció en ella un talento natural para el arte. Desde su infancia modela y esculpe, siendo su hermano Paul y su sirvienta Helene sus primeros modelos. A los doce años, su familia se traslada a Nogent-sur-Seine y entra en la Academia Colarossi, una de las pocas escuelas de arte que admitía estudiantes femeninas.
