Other shade lovers are climbing hydrangea (*Hydrangea petiolaris*), creeping fig and ivy.

I pruned my Star Jasmine vine after flowering last spring but it was in need of a 2nd trim. Nothing too severe; just a little the pruning & shaping in early fall. Be sure not to prune too heavily or too late into fall because it'll mess with the blooming next spring. A video guides you.
