Blue Lagoon Spa, Iceland ---- my friends flew into Reykjavik for 2 days on their way to Europe. Went straight from the airport to the Spa, and LOVED it. They said they loved Reykjavik and would go back in a heartbeat.
The Blue Lagoon geothermal spa is one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. The steamy waters are part of a lava formation. The spa is located in a lava field in Grindavík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, southwestern Iceland.
From above, the glassy blue waters of the Navajo Beach lagoon on Greece’s Zákinthos island make boats appear to float on air. This beautiful, cliff-rimmed island is part of the Ionian chain off Greece’s west coast.
