A. Normal - sound hear equally in both ears B. Conductive Loss - sound materializes to the "bad" eard/t background room noise which masks hearing in the normal ear.  The "bad" ear is not distracted by background noise and therefore has a better chance at hearing the bone-conducted sound.  C. Sensorineural Loss - sound lateralizes to the "good" ear because the bad ear has nerve loss and cannot perceive the sound.
