Large embroidered ‘yazma’ (woman’s headscarf) from Central-Anatolia. First quarter of the 20th century. Adorned with two-sided embroidery (identical on both sides of the fabric) in multicoloured cotton, silk and metal thread on linen. A composed geometrical motif is repeated 2 x 5 times (Inv.nr. yaz078 - Kavak Costume Collection-Antwerpen/Belgium).
