Automatic Modeling of Bearing Lengths. The bearing lengths on the mandrel and the die are the most important factors affecting the flow of aluminium in the extrusion die-set. In classical CAD systems it takes a long time to model them, but in ExtrusionPower bearing length information are taken automatically from a 2D drawing and applied to the 3D model without user interaction. At the picture, the bearing model is created under 10 secs from the 2D drawing seen on the left side.
