Turkish Rug Factory...the beginning of the process June 18, 1998 - This is the Turkish Rug Factory that we visited and learned about the carpet making process that produces the "most sought after" priceless carpets that the world collects. I was blessed with being able to assist in the weaving process, so somebody's carpet, somewhere in this world, has fibers woven by little ole me in it! What a process, from the pulling and spindling of the fibers, to the dying vats...all amazing!
