Collage-Art

Guy Garnier is a French artist born in 1948.Il looks like a collage artist self. A visit to the works of Kurt Schwitters did abandon oil painting 25 years ago to devote himself to the assembly of recovered paper on makeshift stands as enterprise calendars. Everything beyond his mailbox interests. Most often, he entrusts his staging of shapes and colors to automation of imagination and dreams. And the table built himself. Simple, but effective montage. Not a whole lot of color, kindof dark mood to it but still is pleasing. I like that the peson is used for a point of asymetrical balance

I like this cut design- a simple yet successful way to create a dynamic composition out of a static image
