As an Egyptian it is only right for me to talk about food, I'm usually a guy that's very picky about food, but let me tell you, their bread is like eating a piece of heaven off a plate, but that's not the only thing, their shawarma I'm afraid to say is better than ours back in Egypt, and ours is good
If you wanted to go to a local place, you would go to the bazaar, even though it sells things for tourists you would the sellers talking to other people and tried to rip you off by giving you crazy prices, it was a great thing to watch if you wanted to study the local people
Istanbul has hundreds of mosques. We visited the Süleymaniye, Rustem Pasa, and Blue Mosques. The first two of these were constructed by the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan in the mid and the Blue Mosque was built shortly after by a student of Sinan.
