Late-Ottoman 'kilij', century, wootz steel blade ( visible in the groove) with 4 cartouches of koranic verses, iron mounts and spiral stiched leather scabbard decorated en suite with gold koftgari foliages and volutes, horn grip (possibly rhino horn).

Ottoman jambya, 18th to 19th century, tapering double-edged blade curving upward, each face with central ridge, the forte with gold overlaid decoration, the silver hilt and scabbard with fine repoussé rocaille decoration, the scabbard with silver filigree mounts, one supsension ring, assay and old maker's marks, 18in. (46cm.).
