16世紀ルネッサンス貴族女性。イタリアから全ヨーロッパへ。Sopraveste(ソプラヴェステ)=長袖のワンピース。 Robe(ローブ)ともいい、腰から下のスカート部分は大きく広がっている。 襟ぐり。若い女性の着るソプラヴェステの襟ぐりは 大抵大きく広がっているが年配者は首まで隠しているデザインを選ぶ。若い女性でも、威厳を重視する場合(女王として登場する時など)は、襟ぐりを広げすぎることはない。 ウェストのくびれの位置は自然になっている。ルネサンス以前の衣装は、 バストのすぐ下あたりにウェストのくびれがあり、そこからすぐスカートが広がるという不自然なものだった。 ボルサ(伊Borsa)=女性の衣装にはポケットがないため、ベルトの紐の先にボルサという巾着袋をぶら下げて小物を入れておく。紐の両端に一つずつボルサをぶら下げている人もたくさんいた。中には、片方はボルサ、片方には扇をつけていた例もある。1540s gown, reproduction
