"This nicely finished, full-size Mulucky brand open back banjo is all maple with a very natural looking Remo Weatherking head. I add my colorful hand-painted wildflower meadow design around the edge of the top, protected by a coat of matte varnish. Matching flowers on the headstock complement the main design and are protected by a satin varnish that matches the rest of the instrument. This five-string banjo has great resonance and the open back allows action height to be easily fine-tuned with the accessible tensioner. Weight is also less than a resonator style banjo.
