I've seen some strange landscapes, but this place...These are the Bentonite Hills, near Caineville, Utah. I was going to shoot the fall colors in Capitol Reef but the weather was looking a little funky so I just pulled the car to the side of Route 24. I happened to look over at these badland formations and decided to explore the area a little. What I found were these amazing colors and lunar landscape - made even stranger with the threatening skies.
