Cake fails

The shark just kills me lol.

Kids however, bless their icing covered faces, are too young to understand the stifled snorts of laughter and looks of panic exchanged between adults. Thankfully, little ones are blissfully blind-sighted by the anticipation of epic sugar consumption. With their innocent eyes and enthusiastic tummies they think the presented Peppa cake is piggy perfection.

From birthdays to weddings, cakes are a staple in our celebrations. But sometimes, things don't go quite as planned. Whether it's a miscommunication with the baker or just a plain old disaster in the kitchen, cake fails are a real thing. And let me tell you, they can be downright hilarious.

We love DIY fails. We also love when we see wedding cake fails that fall so hard they've turned a corner into being awesome anyway.

It can't be that difficult to bake a beautiful hedgehog cake... right? Some sugar, few eggs, flour, couple of chocolate bars... Yet, sometimes failures happen.

You've probably heard about his majesty, the king and the queen of all the delicious cakes smothered with whipped cream, the hedgehog cake. Started as a sincere baking fail by someone who thought that making such a dessert would be a walk in the park, it quickly turned into an internet craze with people deliberately making the worst hedgehog cakes out there.
