Great color choice Karen & I'm also having dessert! My good friend retired recently from her position as a scrub tech in the OR for 48 years. I chose this image b/c 2 of her 3 boys live in FL & she goes to visit often. She taught me a lot when I worked in the OR & became a RN scrub nurse. Hi everyone, I was requested by one of my work colleagues to make two retirement cards for her to give to her friends, this is what I came up with. The first card uses one of the cards from the Magnolia Lane Memories and More Card Pack, a Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories and More Cards and Envelopes a fussy cut Magnolia flower from the Designer Series Paper. I used My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! to make the calendar and the greeting on the front. The calendar is a 5.5" x 6.5" page, reduced in size to about 4.25" x 5.5" . The greeting is made with the Word Play digital stamp set in Regal Rose ink, portions of it covered with square punches filled with Whisper White. The word RETIREMENT is simply a text box and text.
