And, let’s be honest, because they look awesome. The butterfly was a request for a request for a wedding, so how could I resist! When I created this design, I incorporated the majestic beauty of the butterfly with the whimsy of their flight patterns. It also forced me to modify my typical style; this is the first time I varied the line thicknesses within the design. The varying lines help capture the complexity of the butterfly, without over-cluttering the design. The Butterfly is a symbol of beauty and understanding. And it is true: When you understand the nature of something, it is very easy to see its beauty! All CelticKnotWorks pieces are proudly handcrafted in the USA.
