To help maximize the space of this small bedroom, I built a DIY fold down desk. It is the perfect place to do some homework!

Here's what you're working toward. It looks a lot like the IKEA version, if you ask us. Take note: see that pencil line? We drew that once we found the stud in the wall and it was our measure of how high we wanted the desk to be. Just read below, it'll make sense!

Having a separate work area is a true joy (especially if you tend to work from home a lot), but not everyone has the space for a full office. So make like the space genius you are and invest in a desk you can fold away when you’re not using it — or at the very least, mount to the wall for a little less bulkiness.
