Forgive, but don't forget

Dear Allahﷻ, Allow me to forgive and forget. Let not the weight of these pains turn me into someone You dislike, someone who carries grudges and behaves with harshness. Give me the strength to look past other people’s cruelty, and to have faith in Your justice and generous recompense. Let every bad experience remind me of the importance of being good, so that I am never the source of someone else’s pain.
