Are you following us on Pinterest? Thanks to a recent heat wave in Melbourne, we've been having lots of fun playing with ice. The other day I thought I'd combine our love of painting by making some frozen paint cubes for the kids to paint with. I wasn't actually sure how well it'd all turn out, but the results speak for themselves. I've since tested it with a variety of different paints and found that whilst the results vary, they all provide a fun, sensory and unique painting experience…

This magic paper towel art will blow your child's mind. As if by magic you can make pictures or colours appear by placing a paper towel in water. How is this possible you ask, is it magic or is it science? Whatever it is this surprise drawing activity is definitely fun!

learning through play, playroom inspo, play ideas on Instagram: "This is such a fun and easy one if you want to switch up your kids' outdoor play!

To make chalk paint, all you need to do is grate, or crush up some coloured chalk (you can just reuse one ziplock bag for each colour). Put the crushed powder in a paint palette or old muffin tin and mix in some water! Now you have chalk paint 🌈

Take it outside and let your little ones go wild with paintbrushes and pavement, fence or brick. (Ours hoses straight off but maybe test and inconspicuous spot first).

Have you tried this before? It creates endless fun ❤️
