When times are hard, do you ever find yourself seeking sanctuary in memories? Do you ever feel yourself sinking below the surface of the present, into another world, a happier world - where the dream-scents are heady and laughter seems to last forever? ⁣ ⁣ I have been reliving long-past summers and distant echoes of spring recently, a bitter-sweet nostalgia of family, home, lost friends and moonflowers.

It all came from the stress of moving house. I hope you like it!

Tried to take a break to rest my arm, but I just had to paint this. I'm glad too, this painting is the most successful I've done in a while. I stopped overthinking and just made the painting how I wanted to. I recorded the process and it'll be up on Patreon in Jun/Jul.
