Narcissist fathers traits/It's almost as if one of Tim's children wrote this. They would be far too scared to, but if they weren't, I bet they'd say the same! I know my 11 & 13 year old would say it!

Narcissistic parents don't know their children. They aren't interested in what they have to say, unless it affects them. The parent may be looking at the child, but they're not listening. As the child talks, it's as if the parent is looking right through them. The parent's response is either about themselves, comparing the child to someone else, what the child has done wrong, or they change the subject completely.
