Whales mate for life and can live up to 80 years in the wild -------- ^Killer whales do not mate for life. Females can live to be 80, whilst the males can live to be 60. It's ironic that this is a picture of two captive orcas and the last pinner was talking about the lifespan of wild whales, when in captivity their lives or significantly shortened.
