Sarah Gwan Design Studio knows the power of a pastel hue, and it's seen in the packaging design for Sandbar, a sparkling aperitif. Each of the three products in the range is labeled in a shade that represents the color of the liquid within, creating a stunning monotone packaging system that's anything but boring. The casual, laid-back approach to this aperitif adds an element of whimsy and approachability that's always valued.

Working closely with Sonos’ Art Director Ben Blanchard and Director of Packaging Experience Michelle Enright, San Francisco-based studio Hybrid Design’s graphic system for the audio manufacturer’s accessories line flourishes in its own right, while at the same time, adheres seamlessly to its wider brand universe. Their solution feels familiar as a result, yet stands apart thanks to a bespoke set of simplified illustrations and a distinctive paper choice.

To update its clarified butter packaging, Finnish brand Jokilaakson Juusto turned to Studio Hellsten to create a new, more premium packaging system. The pairing of light blue and bright yellow hues with strong, bistro-inspired illustrations creates a packaging system that's highly contemporary but also creates an amusingly quaint aesthetic.
