Nowhere to place the camera to get the angle I wanted and with nowhere to even lean on, I just had to stand as still as I could, hold my breath and shoot by hand. A little fuzzy because of that, but I really like the result showing the pier lights lighting up the boardwalk and the safety ropes at the end of the day. The pier is near our hotel at the Red Sea resort of Makadi Bay, Egypt. (It was a very long pier and great to photograph, so more angles of this pier in my photostream).

"Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun." Great place to visit in the evening. Every Tuesday there is a cool farmers market across the street from the pier with great live music and stalls.

This is Venice Pier on Florida's west coast. A couple of weeks ago I found myself here with camera in hand. This is a really cool pier and at the foot of it is Sharky's restaurant which is a must see if you're visiting the area. This is one of those places we take our guests when they come down to visit.
