Rosewater is a hydrosol, which is a distillation process. It is much more concentrated and has way more benefits than just boiling it on the stove, straining it out and calling it rosewater. This also lasts much longer than just boiling it on the stove since it’s distilled it can last much longer. I used 2 cups of dried, rose, petals and 8 cups of water and put a glass bowl in the center. I think it works better if you use a pot in the center, but I didn’t have one without a handle. Either way I made hydrosol somehow which I’m really excited about.
