There are 15 extant species of crocodile in the world today. They can be found in the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia. The largest is the Saltwater Crocodile, with the males reaching 14 – 17 feet and weighing 880 – 2,200 pounds. The smallest is the African Dwarf Crocodile being roughly 5 feet
