Seed bombs, or seed balls, are compact clusters of seeds designed to bring greenery and vibrant habitats to urban areas and neglected spaces. In the 1970s, Green Guerrillas sought to combat Manhattan's deteriorating concrete landscape by throwing seed green-aids (resembling grenades), hence the name seed bombs! Botanical PaperWorks creates seed bombs using post-industrial materials.
