two months ago we visited my mom and she gave the kids another container of jellies, so I knew it was time to make a second lantern

Because they are made with upcycled plastic containers, they are really lightweight and easy for the kids to bump around and walk with.

first, I cleaned the container and removed the stickers. If there is a little bit of sticky residue left, that’s OK because we’re going to cover it anyway.

Then I added some mod podge and one layer of white tissue paper

after that, I added, these mushroom silhouettes, as well as some dried florals also using mod podge
