This large scale forest embroidery was commissioned for a private interior project. Taking almost 600 hours to complete, this piece created a magical addition to a clients master bedroom, brining the essence forest surrounding the property inside. Working with one of the UK’s last remaining metal thread makers I explored how a variety of copper threads could capture the feel of branches, vines and trunks, combining to create a scene of seven trees, each with their unique personality.
